Winnipeg Comedy Shows: Spring 2024
There are tons of incredible comedians coming to Winnipeg in 2024, from Steph Tolev to Ryan Sickler to Kevin Bozeman — and you can see them all right here at Rumor’s Comedy Club.
If you weren’t already looking forward to springtime in Winnipeg, we’ve got 11 reasons for you to get pumped for the change of season. So, without any further ado, here are some of the comedians coming to Winnipeg this spring.
March 2024
Ryan Sickler - Host of the wildly popular podcast The HoneyDew, Ryan Sickler brings his story-telling style of stand-up to Rumor’s. Ryan loves to share the lowlights of his life, which is what makes him and his podcast so darn popular and lovable.
Kelly Taylor - Imagine the funniest guy on your rec league hockey team, then multiply that by 10 and you’ve got Kelly Taylor. The Saskatchewan-based comedian travels all over North America, and has performed for some of hockey’s biggest names.
Steph Tolev - The self-proclaimed Queen of Filth returns to Rumor’s this spring, and she’s got a spring in her step. Steph has blown up since the last time we had her at the club, making her Netflix debut and opening for the legendary Bill Burr during his 2023 tour. We’re very lucky to have Steph again, and this may be your last chance to see her in a club setting, because with the way things are going, she’ll be moving up to theaters very soon..
Tony Woods - A master of the craft and mentor to the greats, Tony Woods comes to us again by way of Washington D.C. Tony has performed all across the world, and Dave Chappelle called him the biggest influence on his comedy in his acceptance speech at the 2019 Mark Twain Prize gala.
Kathleen McGee & Sean Lecomber - What’s better than one killer headliner? How about two?
We’re bringing you a rare double headliner show featuring two of Edmonton’s best comics, Kathleen McGee and Sean Lecomber. Kathleen is a vet of Just For Laughs, and has toured across the world. She’s dirty and direct, and really has no time for people who can’t roll around in the mud and let loose.
Sean is a dad with a dark side, and most canadian comedians will tell you that he’s the funniest comic in the country. He mixes stories of family vacations with observations of human behavior to make a cocktail of hilarity that goes down smooth.
April 2024
Ryan Long - Originally from Toronto, now living in New York City, Ryan Long likes to poke things to see how they react. He’s probably best known for his YouTube sketches that highlight the hypocrisies of both the liberal left and the conservative right. His observations on today’s cultural climate are as sharp as they are funny.
Kevin Bozeman - Anybody who has a fear of public speaking will be in awe of Kevin Bozeman. He’s easily the most comfortable and laid back guy with a spotlight on him. His calm, cool energy allows him to tell stories from his life as though you were long lost friends.
Ian Bagg - Crowdwork master, Ian Bagg returns to Rumor’s in April. Ian made waves when he appeared in the finals of Last Comic Standing in 2015. Since then, he’s appeared on the Your Mom’s House podcast, WTF with Marc Maron, as well as the Tonight Show, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
May 2024
Josh Adam Meyers - Combining jokes with music, Josh Adam Meyers is unlike anything you’ve seen before. The Washington D.C. native has toured arenas as the opening act for musicians like Jelly Roll, as well as big name comics, like Bill Burr.
Meyers is a veteran of the Just For Laughs festival circuit, and he’s appeared on Netflix and Comedy Central as a stand-up as well as the voice of DJ Howlin’ Hank on the cartoon F is for Family.
Caitlin Peluffo - Caitlin is a rising star in the stand-up comedy world. Originally from San Francisco, now living in New York, Caitlin has appeared on Late Show with James Corden and regularly opens for big acts like Maria Bamford, Fortune Feimster, Gary Gullman, and Colin Quinn.
