11 Fun Ideas for Your Winnipeg Bachelor Party

Paintball, skydiving, and go karts are just a few fun ideas for your Winnipeg bachelor party.

No matter what you choose to do, the point of a bachelor or bachelorette party is to have your best friends all together for one las hurrah before you tie the knot. As long as you've got that, you'll have a great time, but if you want some ideas to spice up your stag or stagette, we've got you covered.

In this article Rumor's Comedy Club looks at all the things you'll need to cover when planning a bachelor party, and we'll give you 11 ideas to celebrate your bachelor party Winnipeg style.

Make your guest list

If you're organizing your own bachelor party but then you know who you want to invite. But, if you're the Maid of Honor or the Best Man organizing a stag on the bride or groom's behalf, be mindful to invite everybody that your friend would want at a celebration in their honor, not just the people in your shared social circle.

Many couples are also choosing to combine their stag and stagette parties in what is called a Jack and Jill party. Make sure you know what type of staff you're organizing before you plan activity and make reservations.

Pick a theme

You don't have to have a theme for your bachelor party, but it can be a good way for people who just met to break the ice. Some stag parties like to dress in crazy costumes or matching tee shirts with the bride or groom's name on it. You can get tee shirts printed quickly and cheaply at a local printer like The T-Shirt Connection or Instant Imprints.

Many stags (and particularly stagettes) like to go a little dirtier and purchase party favors and novelties from their favourite adult entertainment store. Some of the Winnipeg shops that specialize in these include Love Nest and Adam and Eve.

Make your reservations

Whether you're keeping things G-rated or going XXX, check to see if any of your stops require you to make reservations. Nothing puts the brakes on fun like having to wait an hour and a half to get into a restaurant or  other establishment of I'll repute.

Rumor's has become a destination of choice for many to-be-weds. We offer discounts on ticket prices for the whole party and a special gift for the the woman or man of honor. Check here for more details.

Plan your transportation

For many people stag parties include drinks, so you'll want to plan ahead for safe transportation from stop to stop. Some bachelor parties like to class it up by reserving a limo for the evening, while others opt for the party bus motif.

Winnipeg does have public transportation, but it's not all that fast. If you won't be reserving a limo or bus, taking a taxi cab or an Uber is a good second option to get where you're going quickly.

Choose an activity or two

When you get everybody together you'll want to have something for them to do. There's things to see and do in Winnipeg, so the real challenge will be narrowing it down to two or three.

If money is an issue, don't worry there's plenty of free activities in Winnipeg. Check out our list of things to do in Winnipeg this Spring which includes some money-free activity suggestions.

Whatever you choose, make sure the bride or groom-to-be is comfortable with the evening's itinerary. That doesn't mean you can't surprise them, but you don't want to put them in an uncomfortable position on what is supposed to be a night of celebration.
