The Best Comedy Podcasts from Rumor's Headliners
Podcasts are a huge deal these days, and just about every stand-up comic either hosts a podcast or has been a guest on a bunch of them.
With literally thousands of podcasts available on your favorite streaming platform, it can be hard to know where to spend your listening time. Fortunately for you Rumor’s Comedy Club — the best comedy club in Winnipeg — has made this useful little list of our favorite comedy podcasts hosted by some of our favorite Rumor’s headliners.
Check it out:
Steph Infection with Steph Tolev
It’s raunchy, it’s honest, and it’s funny as hell. What else would you expect from the Filth Queen of Comedy, Steph Tolev?
Every week Steph sits down with a new guest to talk about gross bodily functions, weird medical issues, crazy accidents, and anything else that piques your morbid curiosity. Past guests of Steph Infection include fellow comics like Bobby Lee, adult film stars like Lisa Ann, and even her own sister, Jess.
We Might Be Drunk & Tuesdays With Stories
If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to be a comedian, We Might Be Drunk and Tuesdays With Stories is a good place to start, and both podcasts feature Rumor’s alumni!
We Might Be Drunk features Mark Normand and Sam Morill, and is basically two comics hanging out and pitching joke ideas to each other. Oh, and they drink — hence the title.
Tuesdays With Stories also features Normand alongside his best pal Joe List. The two anxious Andys trade stories from their weekend on the road, with more than a pinch of self-deprecation.
The Patdown with Ms. Pat
Ever been shot in the face? Rumor’s alum Ms. Pat has. And wouldn’t you like to hear what someone who’s been shot in the face has to say on the culture of the day? You can on The Patdown with Ms. Pat. Every week Ms. Pat is joined by her crew to give a unique perspective on the world we live in, covering big topics like race to little topics like coupons and off-brand food.
Bein’ Ian with Jordan
If you hate growing up, then you’re not alone because neither do Ian Fidance and Jordan Jensen. These two cut ups are like the misfit kids who made fun of all the kids in highschool. But, now that they’ve graduated (citation needed), they’re free to be themselves without fear of jock retribution.
While neither of the hosts have headlined our club, Ian Fidance will be hitting the Rumor’s stage for the first time from August 29th – 30th.
We're Having Gay Sex
The hilarious Ashley Gavin documents her queer sexcapades as she navigates single life after a 10-year relationship. While the content may be sensitive, fear not: Ashley has with her two pals to call her on her B.S. and help keep her from getting completely canceled.
Ashley headlined Rumor’s back in 2023, and we’ve been fans ever since.
Boze Knows
Sports, pop culture, current events — Boze Knows has it all. Chicago’s own Kevin Bozeman takes on the day’s top stories all on his own, in what might just be the most laid-back rant you've ever heard. Boze Knows is like having a scotch and a cigar with the coolest guy you know.
Kevin Bozeman will be returning to Rumor’s this October for our 40th Anniversary weekend. Get your tickets now, because these shows are definitely going to sell out quickly.
Guys We F****d
Sex positivity is the name of the game on Guys We F****d. Every week, Corrine Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson demystify the world of female sexuality and sexual health by talking with and about the people and hot-button issues in a hilariously disarming way.
Not only has Krystyna Hutchinson headlined Rumor’s, but we’ve also had the podcast itself record some shows on our very own stage!
The Tom Green Podcast
Perhaps one of the oddest comedy minds of his generation, Tom Green now has a podcast. The prankster turned farmer talks about the juxtaposition of his life as a comedian and his life in rural Somewhere. If you haven’t been keeping up with Tom since his cable access days (what’s wrong with you?????), you’ll notice some changes. But you’ll also see the similarities, like his disjointed take on everything, and you’ll recognize some of his guests, too (ie. his mom).
Tom Green is back headlining Rumor’s from August 8th – 10th. These shows are sold out, but check out our events calendar for more great comedians coming to Winnipeg in 2024.
